• Upgrades to the Corner Studio Monto

    My uninsulated, termite-ridden 1936 shop (originally Monto Tyre Surgery) now has new feet, insulated 'hat' and its northeast laneway wall has insulation and new window openings for improved daylight, winter sunshine and cross-ventilation. Summer in the space has been vastly improved with the insulation and added ceiling fans. Last summer, I had to vacate by noon due to the heat on a normal hot day. 0 Comments

    We are on a new life adventure, living in the regional town of Monto, to enjoy a slower pace and the beautiful big spaces of this Gooreng Gooreng Country. I've bought a small 1930ish shop on the edge of town beside our home. Nicknamed, "The Hub", it is a place to work from, host informal gatherings and overflow accommodation for friends and family.
